New Babylon is a project investigating the way we interact and move through our urban environments; and will feature the work of seven young and emerging artists exploring these concepts through performance, installation, and sound works located throughout the Melbourne CBD.

The curators are Jessica O’Brien and Pip Wallis, and the participating artists are Kay Abude, Renee Cosgrave, Eliza Dyball, Anna and Renee Miller-Yeaman, Jessica Pinney and Esther Stewart. The project will culminate in the presentation of six artworks in public spaces in Melbourne during the 2012 Next Wave Festival.

New Babylon Launch
